Against Wilts & Roots

  • WILTON is a unique combination of novel, natural, bioactive antifungal extracts of endophytic bacteria.
  • WILTON is specially designed for the management of soil borne pathogens/ wilt / rot causing pathogens viz., Fusarium sp, Sclerotium sp, Rhizoctonia sp, Pyhtium sp and Phytophthora wilts. These non-volatile antimicrobial biomolecules have broad spectrum impact on these soil borne pathogens.
  • WILTON is a new and safe way of controlling soil borne, wilt causing pathogens and has a great potential in the biological control of soil borne pathogens.
  • WILTON also enhances plant growth and builds plant immunity against pathogen invasion and multiplication.
  • WILTON also impacts the quality and yields of the crops.
  • WILTON is recommended for drenching / soil application around the rhizosphere of the plant.
  • WILTON is effective against widest range of soil borne pathogens caused by fungal pathogens on various crops like cereals, vegetables, fruits, flowers, tubers, pulses etc.

Mode of Action :

The non-volatile antifungal and antibacterial bio-molecules produced by the endophytic bacillus and pseudomonas sp have fungistatic and bacteristatic properties. They inhibit mycelia growth and suppress pathogen multiplication. The crude composition containing lipopeptide molecules, glycosides, esters, ketones and different aldehyde compounds exhibit multivariate interactions on the pathogenic microbes viz., antagonistic properties, fungitoxic properties etc.

Best Use Guidelines

When to Use

For best results, use at the first sign of disease infection. Repeat at 7-8 day intervals or as needed. When environmental conditions favor rapid disease development (high humidity, excessive rain, extreme moisture condition, etc.), apply more often.

Recommended for :

Fungal wilts & Rots (Fusarium sp., Sclertoium sp., Rhizoctonia sp., Pythium sp., Phytophthroa sp etc.)

Dose and Method of Application

Soil application : Mix 5 ml of Wilton in good quality water and drench around the root zone or rhizosphere of the plant thoroughly. Second application to be given after 7-8 days. The frequency of applications depends on the severity of the disease and environmental conditions. In case of high disease pressures, and in perennial crops, multiple applications are recommended.
